So today is going to be a short day for us--at least as far as our time streaming from the Loft is concerned.

The reason for this is that we are going to spend the majority of the afternoon hanging out with our buddies from SPIN at their day party, which will feature the first US performance from Hole in a decade. Then, from there, we'll be preparing for our massive show that night with muther effin' Muse at Stubb's.

But alas, we still have a lot of great interviews going on today. Here are all of the other great bands stopping by, again all times are PST:

9:00 AM - Sharon Jones

10:00 AM - The Antlers

11:00 AM - Jakob Dylan and Neko Case

11:15 AM - Band Of Horses

11:30 AM - Travie McCoy

12:30 PM - The Middle East

Make sure you tune in!

After seven hours of streaming live radio, where we talked to everyone from Broken Social Scene (who love tacos) to Chamillionaire (who loves private jets), it's nice to reflect on our first day.

That's what you can do with the following slide-show. Taken by our pal Emily Shur with materials provided by Fuji Film, the following shots give you a glimpse at just who stopped by and, well, what they were feeling as they hung out at the SPIN and MySpace Music Loft on Sixth.

We asked each artist to caption their photo which is how you end up with a photo of Hanoi Rocks titled: "I was smelling my own funk."

Here is the thing you should know about SXSW: It's nice to have air-conditioning.

Sure, you may have the opportunity to see 5,367 bands at any point during your time in Austin, but at some point you are going to seek refuge. Which is what we did for most of the afternoon as we spent our day talking to bands like Metric, Broken Social Scene, Miike Snow and countless others at our Loft on Sixth Street.

In the process, we met Erik Estrada (no, for reals) and also gave away passes to our Muse show tomorrow through our MySpace Music Twitter account, leading to scores of re-tweets and one fan who was brought to tears when he finally won.

So what do you do after a day like that? You immediately head off to see the breakout SXSW band of... 1993! We started off the night by going to the Merge showcase where label owners Superchunk were playing one of the only shows they will play all year.

In the process, the inhumanly energetic indie rock institution proved this much: Wearing sunglasses after 7:45 PM is a bad look (our apologies to the dude in the balcony). Well, that is, unless you are the band's bass player. (Laura Balance, we salute you!).

Superchunk played two new songs in their early evening set and, at the request of recent label mates Let's Wrestle, they also played the late '90s gem "Hello Hawk." After they left the stage, their UK counterparts came on and performed a score of songs off of their debut album, In The Court Of Wrestling Let's, most of which sounded like early Pavement and later Blur. Which is a huge compliment.

From there, we jetted over to Stubb's to see The Soft Pack play a warm-up spot for Broken Social Scene, who turned out an undeniably triumphant set with their friends in Metric.

Before all that, though, the Soft Pack's songs, just as they do on their stellar debut, throbbed with tension, but this was probably the last venue you might see a band this personal and demanding. We're going to have to see them later this week at a venue that has more beer on the floor.

Maybe that's why it felt so good to leave the open air of Stubb's for the stuffy confines of the Beauty Bar, where working class punks Titus Andronicus (pictured above) played to far less people who, in turn, seemed far more moved by their tunes. It was the best set we saw all night. There were sing-alongs. There were tall cans of beers. And there were major chords that were played with sloppy perfection.

As the crowd pogo-ed to the final notes of their set, bearded frontman Patrick Stickles abruptly brought things to a halt. "Sorry, we wanted to play the last 45 seconds of that song but we ran out of time," he said, looking at the stage manager. That's SXSW in a nutshell. You're the best band in the world, until it's time for someone else to take the stage.

We still can't believe that we got to be a part of this show and, furthermore, that we will be airing the footage from it on Sunday. This is going to be the biggest performance of the festival so we were beyond excited last night to finally let the cat out of the bag.

But alas, we still have a lot of great interviews going on tomorrow (like Neko Case, who is pictured above, and we'll be coming by wth Jakob Dylan). Here are all of the other great bands stopping by, again all times are PST:

Now, we know, you heard the news yesterday about Muse officially playing SXSW.

But there are some problems: You can't afford a badge or you don't have two days to sleep in front of Stubb's this week. This is understandable.

So here is what we are going to do: Today, during our live stream from our Loft on Sixth, we're going to give away a few passes to the show. The way it will work is simple. Throughout the day, we're going to be posting questions on the MySpace Music Twitter account.

We'll let you know when the questions go up on the air. (Here is Thursday's schedule. Though you can also just follow us to stay in the know.) Once they do, you will need to send us an @ message us with the answer. You'll need to live in Austin to be eligible, will need to follow our Twitter so we can direct message you about where to pick up your passes.

But that's not all. If you win, we'll be asking you to update your status on MySpace from the show. In doing so, we'll feature you on the front page of MySpace on our celebrity updates tab. So consider yourself a famous person for the night. Or a reporter.

Whatever you like. A small bit of advice: Start following us now!

We asked you to submit questions earlier this week (and, man, did you). Now the time has come: Will Justin marry you? Will he play you Sweet 16 party? Today we find out.

You've submitted your questions, now it's time to get your answers. Head over to Justin profile's this morning at 9:30 EST to his profile to watch as the biggest tween pop star of the moment answers your questions.

Keep it classy!

And... cue the laser beams. After a week of rapid speculation (and a good amount of teasing through this website as well as through some TV promos for Human Target), we can now confirm that Muse is playing at the South By Southwest festival on Friday.

Rumors have been flying around all week (who told these dudes the show was on Saturday?) but now it's official: The epic stadium rock act are playing a show presented by MySpace Music, in association with our friends SPIN magazine, at Stubb's this Friday.

The news was made public during tonight's episode of Human Target. (You can see the spot for it below.) One of our favorite bands, Metric, will open the night. The show itself will be open to a certain segment of badge holders, so if you have em, definitely get there early. (Like right now.)

If you can't make it to Texas, don't fear: the show will be broadcast on Muse's profile starting this Sunday. We're shooting the whole thing, as well as the pandemonium that will inevitably surround the event, so you'll definitely want to check back then.

Get excited. Lord knows that we are.

As we mentioned previously, tomorrow starts our first day of live streaming from South By Southwest. There will be live audio interviews and performances coming from our loft on Sixth Street with artists like Metric (that's leading lady Emily Haines pictured above). They will be closing out the day with a couple of acoustic songs.

So who else we got? Check out the schedule below, all times are PST:

10:00 AM - Local Natives

11:00 AM - Miike Snow

12:00 PM - The Soft Pack (with an acoustic performance)

1:00 PM - Circa Survive (with an acoustic performance)

3:00 PM - Chamillionaire

4:00 PM - Metric (with an acoustic performance)

Make sure to tune in. We promise we won't be drunk... well, at least not during the first hour!

Remember this? Last week, we mentioned that something was going to be announced on tonight's episode of Human Target involving Muse and MySpace Music. Well, the day has arrived.

Tonight, during the show's latest episode, we will be making an announcement involving the epic UK rock act. You figure out what it is yet?

Either way, you'll have to tune in to Fox at 8:00 PM EST to be sure.
